Why do I love history?Someone said, "Those who fail to learn history are doomed to repeat it." There's truth in that. For example, we should learn our family's health history, their geographic and ethnic history and such.
This is as much about common sense as it is about a favorite pastime. How can we say we do or don't believe in something if we haven't learned all we can about it? Whether it's the outcome of political choices, the U.S. Constitution, or The Holy Bible, if you ain't read it and its history, you don't know nothin'! A good place to start learning history is your own history. That's where I began. |
